Setting up Cura for ARC and firmware retraction

Lets enable ARC mode and filament retraction

On Aurarum Vega printers the advanced software can use something that is called arc mode and firmware filament retraction.

Arc mode creates smoother printer movements and thus better quality print results.
It is not a must, but a recommended option.
For that we need to install a couple of plugins and then enable them

 

Go to Marketplace - find and install Arc mode
Do the same for with Printer settings plugin
Use drop down menu to find and enable visibility of the required plugins
Now do the same for the Arc mode plugin
Make sure tha you have enabled in the options after you can see them.

And you are done setting up Cura to be used with Arc mode and firmware filament retraction. No proceed to the upload of filament profiles if it hasn’t been done yet on your printer.
