At Aurarum we support community and the biggest contribution is our supply of the 3D printer filament to Mat Bowtell’s established Free 3D hands pty ltd. Mat Bowtell has a passion to supporting the people in need and after he lost the job as an automotive engineer he established a charity organisation that helps people in need who for one or the other reason are missing a hand.
Mat prints and supplies the hands for free to those who are in need and I cannot afford expensive bionic arms. He is doing great job – look at those happy faces.
Mat uses mostly PLA 3d printer filament with some finger joints printed in the TPU. It is a great cause and we should support Mat in his journey – we never know, one day we might be in need for a hand.
