Aurarum ASA is an easy material to print with provided you have a heated bed and sealed chamber. A good starting point for a successful print is to have your hot end around 235degrees and your hot bed around 100 degrees.

Aurarum ASA 3D Printer Filament is an Australian made and owned product.

Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) is a synthetic, amorphous thermoplastic that works best in material extrusion printing. It is a high impact material that can be used to produce functional parts for automotive applications, electronics, tooling, and more. It is known for having high weather and UV resistance, making it a great candidate for outdoor applications.

ASA filament is one of the most popular materials for the engineering purposes. It has good strength, flexibility and glass transition properties.

Best settings for successful printing:

Printing / Extrusion temperature 220 to 250 degrees
Bed Temperature 90 to 110 degrees
Printing Speed 20-80mm/s

ASA is not biodegradable material. It is not renewable and is requires good ventilation when printing as the off gasses might be quite strong

ASA must be printed on a high temperature heated bed to avoid warping.

Like any 3D printing a well ventilated space is preferred and good storage is the key to a good shelf life of your filament. All our filament is shipped in a vac sealed bag containing a small desiccant satchel.

It is highly recommended to dry the filament before the use. Filament dryers such as Sunlu Fila Dryer and/or Printdry pro are recomended.

Dried filament give the best results.

Aurarum ABS is printer agnostic and as such is suitable for all brands including Flashforge, RepRap, Creality, Artillery, MakerBot, Ultimaker, Makergear, Up!, Voron … and many others.
