Aurarum PPLA (PLA+) is a very easy material to print with ? A good starting point for a successful print is to have your hot end around 210 degrees and your hot bed around 60 degrees.

About PPLA

PPLA (Polylactic Acid +) is a variation on PLA and is fast becoming more popular than PLA. It has an additive increase the smoothness of the surface finish and is less hygroscopic (absorbs less moisture).

The finish silky smooth shiny surface.

It comes in many colours, blends and is usually very easy to print with and is often though to be similar to ABS in its properties.

 

Best settings for successful printing:

Printing / Extrusion temperature 220 to 250 degrees
Bed Temperature 70 to 90 degrees
Printing Speed 20-80mm/s

 

PPLA is biodegradable material made using cornstarch or sugarcane.? It is renewable and is much safer than something like ABS for example.

PPLA can be printed on a medium heated bed.

Like any 3D printing a well ventilated space is preferred and good storage is the key to a good shelf life of your filament.? When opening your bag a clean cut along the top edge will allow you reuse that bag again if you do not finish the entire reel in 1 go.
