Silicone socks-also called socks or socks for hotend -are custom-made silicone wraps that match specific hotend for FDM 3D printers.

Silicone socks are made from a silicone blend, so they are flexible, heat-resistant and nonstick. Very useful especially with materials such as co-polyesters and composite materials, which tend to make thehotend block very dirty.

They are easily installed and removed, keeping the heating block clean, with no burned and blackened plastic residue. They also offer increased temperature stability, especially when using a fan with airflow directed around the nozzle during printing.
