About Us
We are Australian owned and operated family business that has been established in 2014. We are proud to manufacture our branded products here in Melbourne. By buying local you support Australian industry and local families.
Aurarum is in a 3D printing business and supplies home and business consumers with a variety of the products and 3D printing related services. Our Aurarum and Wombot branded products are made locally in Melbourne.
Aurarum branded 3d printer filament delivers exceptional printing results and when buying from us you know that you will get a quality product every time. Our own filament range is very wide and includes PLA, ABS, TPU, PETG and some others with more plastics to be added to the range in the near future. Most of our colour are bright and vibrant and are solid rather than semi translucent like some others. By manufacturing locally we can offer our customers custom size spools and colours as per their requirements.
Apart from the 3D printer filament we design and manufacture Aurarum and Wombot branded 3D printers. These printers are quality printers and the main difference between our printers and the other brands is the build volume. Our smallest printer has a build volume of 250x250x320mm and with the largest printer in range being 500x800x1000mm. Apart from being large build volume – our printers are enclosed and thus allow customers to use a large range of plastics and are not limited to the PLA like with the open frame printers. We are always working on a development of new printers and soon we are planning to release high temperature printers that will be able to print PEEK, PEKK and other high temp materials.
Once again by being local manufacturer we can offer custom size and specification printers that would suit our customer requirements.
Apart from the products that we are manufacturing we supply 3D printer parts, some other exotic filaments as well as Creality, Flashforge, UP or Tiertime printers as well as some other brands.
As part of our service we can provide and source any products that STEM or Makerspaces might require at the school.
To support the educational institutions, we work with purchase orders as well.
Local schools in Melbourne can organise excursions to our small facilities in Ringwood, VIC where students would be introduced into the manufacturing process.
We offer 3D printer repair service as well as training and 3d printing service if there is need for that.
