ABS (Acrylo Butadiene Sytrene) is a very strong and sturdy filament that is oil based.? It is perfect for building LEGO blocks, toys, instruments, automotive trim and car parts.
It comes in many colours, blends and requires a heated bed and enclosed chamber to print with and is often a little more difficult to print with
Best settings for successful printing:
|Printing / Extrusion temperature||220 to 250 degrees|
|Bed Temperature||90 to 110 degrees|
ABS is not biodegradable material.? It is not renewable and is requires good ventilation when printing as the off gasses are quite strong
ABS must be printed on a high temperature heated bed to avoid warping.

ABS requires the use of chemicals, such as Acetone for ?post processing.? Sanding and painting is possible but getting a finished and polished look is better with a chemical mooting agent.
